het Zwartven Nature Reserve
The shifting sand dune at het Zwartven is the second-highest point in Brabant, a protected natural monument situated on a high sand ridge. The original heathland was maintained by sheep. By removing turf and clearing trees, the landscape has been restored to its former glory.
