The ‘Rond de Heksenboom’ horse riding route

(10.5 km)

Around the Heksenboom 10.2 km
The horse riding route takes you through the Kroonvensche Heide, situated south of Bladel. The area is home to a number of ponds: the Kroonven, the Oude Kroonven and the Neerven. All the ponds are beautifully covered with water lilies.

Het Neerven is the largest fen. The Kroonven is interesting because it actually consists of a series of three interconnected fens: Kroonven, Klein Kroonven and Tjop Venneke. You’ll find sundew on the banks.

In the far east of this area flows the River Aa, also known as the Goorloop.

You can park and set off from the car park on Bredasebaan and at De Achterste Hoef Leisure Park. You can also enjoy a bite to eat and a drink here. Hotel De Tipmast is situated right in the
middle of the route. You can also stay overnight at De Verloren Sinjoor B&B.
