The architect of this church was Hubert van Groenendael. The church is regarded as a transition between the Neo-Gothic style and the Amsterdam School. The church’s vault is painted with scenes, including depictions of the Works of Mercy. There are stained-glass windows depicting the Apostles.
The neo-Gothic, three-aisled church at Sniederslaan 46 is a listed building. According to the monument register, the building is “of cultural-historical importance as a distinctive expression of the development of Catholicism in the south and is also significant as an example of the typological development of the ‘people’s church’ in the interwar period, partly due to its three towers”.
