The St Mary’s Chapel in Hoogeloon features two stained-glass windows. These windows commemorate two Dutch soldiers, Jan Balduk and Jan Goossens, who were killed in action whilst fighting the occupying forces following the German invasion in May 1940. The windows were unveiled on 4 May 1995 by relatives of the fallen soldiers. In 1995, one window was restored and the other was replaced.
