Former convent
The Franciscan Sisters of Veghel came to Bladel in November 1898 when the convent opposite the church was completed. The chapel was situated on the first floor above the entrance. A new chapel was built on the left-hand side in 1936. Among the many tasks the sisters undertook in Bladel , we would like to highlight their care for the elderly, their educational work and their community nursing services.
