De Sint-Pancratiustoren
De Sint-Pancratiustoren is the remaining church tower of the Church of St Pancratius in Hoogeloon , in the municipality of Bladel in the Dutch province of North Brabant. The tower stands on Torenstraat and is still surrounded by the old churchyard. The church was dedicated to St Pancratius. The tower is a listed building.
History
The tower was built around 1400. St Pancratius Church was built in the fifteenth century.
In 1924, a new St Pancratius Church was built elsewhere in the village, approximately 140 metres to the south-west of the tower.
In 1926, the old St Pancras Church was demolished, whilst the tower remained standing.

Structure
The square brick tower is built in a sober architectural style and is a fine example of Kempen Gothic. It has four storeys with buttresses set at right angles to one another, topped by a constricted spire. At the top, the tapering buttresses in the uppermost storey extend into pilasters connected by an arched frieze. On the north side is a square stair tower. Above the west entrance is a round window. Inside the tower is a tithe bell dating from 1435, cast by Jan Zeelstman. This bell announced the arrival of the tithe collector. Another bell dates from 1791. The connection between the tower wall and the nave is still clearly visible.
