Angela de Lepper (1979) from Bladel has been creative from a young age.
She learnt to work with various materials and tools and developed a keen eye for form and detail at an early age.
After completing her training at the Helicon Horticultural College in Vught, she worked passionately as a florist for over ten years.
Alongside this, she ran workshops centred on creativity and the reuse of materials: what was rubbish to one person formed the basis of something beautiful for her.
A home renovation sparked the idea of making her own wall decorations from wooden slats, using natural materials and colours.
Working with wood brought her a sense of calm and helped her come to terms with her recovery process. This is
how her current style emerged: wooden artworks that are not only decorative but also tell a story.
The positive reactions from those around her motivated Angela to share her work with a wider audience.
The exhibition at De Muzenval was a fine example of this. How wonderful, then, that she is now able to showcase her art in her own village!
After visiting the exhibition, you can take a leaflet with you and leave a message, review or account of your experience in the guestbook,
or you can share your message via info@angeladelepper.nl.
You can find out more about Angela’s artworks and the stories behind them on her website at www.angeladelepper.nl.
