St Nicholas’s Arrival in Bladel

As is customary, St Nicholas and his helpers travel on to Bladel immediately after arriving in the Netherlands.
It’s always a bit of a nail-biter to see if everything will go to plan, but ‘Navigation Pete’ always manages to find Bladel without any trouble and right on time. 
The plan is therefore for St Nicholas to arrive at Burg. v. Houdtplein at around 2.30 pm,
and then set off in a festive procession through the closed-off Sniederslaan to the Markt,
where he will be officially welcomed on the stage set up there.

A DJ will provide festive St Nicholas music, and all primary school children will have the chance to walk past St Nicholas and his helpers. They’ll
also receive a tasty treat! For
parents, of course, there’ll be plenty of opportunities at the many restaurants and cafés to relax and unwind after all the excitement surrounding St Nicholas’s arrival.
